AI Education
We enable ministries of education to pilot AI education – at scale, at low risk.
Bringing AI into a national school system is a significant step. We make it a manageable one: under government supervision, we run large-scale pilot projects in public schools – hundreds of schools, thousands of teachers.
The lever: empowering teachers
Teacher training sits at the centre of the strategy. We qualify local teachers and trainers alike, following the train-the-trainer principle. AI competence becomes part of the education system rather than a standalone project. The model is deliberately cost-efficient, scalable and adapted to local needs. We train where demand arises – not by spreading ourselves evenly across the map.
Anchored in the education system
We offer ministries of education a low-risk, government-supervised way to test AI education at scale before it is introduced nationally. Our cascade model – master trainer, teacher, pupil – ensures fast, quality-assured delivery. If a pilot proves itself, the ministry adopts the curriculum into the national school system, and The Dariu Foundation moves on. We build it; the state carries it.
Knowledge as a public good
We regard education as a common good. All learning materials are freely available online, at no cost for non-commercial use. Any teacher, any school, any interested institution can build on what we develop.
International reach, growing ambition
The Dariu Foundation is active today in Vietnam, Bhutan, Cambodia, Laos and Kenya. In Malaysia we work with the Fondation Rolf Schnyder, and in Morocco, since 2026, with the Fondation Zakoura. By 2030 we aim to have trained 150,000 teachers, reached five million students and built 500 Dariu Tech Clubs. This is about more than digital education. It is about giving young people the skills, the confidence and the tools to shape their own future.
